I can just imagine what he asks for, every birthday.
"Not another beast Edward, surely no?!" cries the Queen.

But of course the king is an animal lover too and how could he not humour his first born?

There's 7 pets visible, not counting the two fireflies :P One is a secret pet!

I enjoyed drawing the prince lots, and the animals too Used some texture for the pattern on the sofa, the rest is straight-forward airbrushing.

I can see some errors in the composition now.. this started out as a male-face indulgence and grew, and as such unplanned works inevitably do, it looks a little clumsy.
